Brushy Public School extends our deepest condolences to Sallisaw Public Schools following the passing of a Sallisaw Middle School student. We join their community in honoring this young life and send our thoughts and prayers to the student’s family, classmates, and school staff members during this difficult time.

Brushy School will be in session tomorrow. With temperatures returning to the teens this evening and over night, there will be some refreezing of the roads. This can and will affect bus routes. Some routes may have to be altered. As always, parents should use their own personal judgment in sending their children to school. Hopefully, we will see you in the morning.
Due to the extreme cold and hazardous driving conditions, Brushy School will be closed tomorrow, February 20th for a SNOW DAY.
Due to the continuous winter weather and extreme cold Brushy School will be virtual on Wednesday, February 19th.
Due to the impending risk of severe weather and extreme cold Brushy School will be Virtual on Tuesday February 18th.
Due to a significant rise in illness among staff and students, Brushy School will be closed Friday, January 31st. This decision allows our custodial staff additional time to deep clean and sanitize all school facilities while also giving students and our staff extra day to recover. School will resume on Monday, February 3, 2025.
There will be no school on Monday, January 20th.

Those that have purchased an 8th grade add page for the yearbook, we will need all photos sent in by Feb 3rd. All photos need to be emailed to "yearbook@brushy.k12.ok.us"
